Plastic Window - glue?
Hey folks, so currently I have a crack in the rear plastic window and I won't be getting it replaced for awhile. In the mean time, I been using duct tape which does not work well in the heat and rain. Is there any product out there that would work better to cover the crack that sticks? Or maybe there is some liquid plastic kind of stuff that I can use to seal on the outside and use some flexible tape on the inside? Looking for any options and suggestions.... feel free to add a link or so to products your suggesting too please.
Thanks everyone... ride safe! DR.C |
E6000 Adhesive
This worked well for me until I replaced the window. I recommend taping one side to hold the window until it is fully cured.

You can buy clear tape to repair boat tops . Very thick .

+1 on tear aid. It's still noticeable but not as ghetto as duct tape.

Thanks for all your suggestions. After taking off the duct tape and cleaning the glue off I went to the store and bought a roll of the Clear Gorilla Tape as I needed something quick because of the heavy rain coming. Turns out this stuff works great. I had time to put a slice on the inside and one of the outside and works amazing. Plus it does not show much from the outside. Its flexible which is great as the window folds at the exact spot where the tear happened.
