MP3 CD's
 

Does anyone know if the 07 will play CD's with MP3's burned on them? What are some choices for an aftermarket unit? Why doesn't Porsche embrace new technology?

The '06 is supposed to have this capability, but I tested it out over the weekend and it resulted in a "STOP" message.

I have read that PCM is required to play them, but also heard it wasn't. So if anyone knows the scoop, please clue me in.

987 without PCM will not play mp3s in either the dash cd player or remote cd unit.
