04' Boxster - Water after rain drivers side floor and under dash

Hi all,

New to my boxster and not too familiar with some of the weird "gremlins".

today after a day of light but steady rain the carpet was wet on my drivers side floor and some water was in and around the driver side A/C / Heat vent. some drip traveled as well under the dash and was dripping on my legs.

Any thoughts as to what i need to check?

Obviously i'll be using the cover for it more often but would love any suggestions beyond the clogged drain holes i already read about.. Seals/gaskets??

Search for how to clean your drains. Water under the driver's seat is potentially disastrous/expensive.

Might want to get ahead of it and order and install one of these:

Porsche Boxster & 996 Immobilizer Waterproof Case Enclosure

If that immobilizer gets wet you are going to be one unhappy camper!
