New owner in Ohio

I've had the Boxster about two weeks. It's a 1999, silver with Boxster red interior. So far I've updated the coolant cap, replaced the cabin filter, air filter, ignition switch and serpentine belt. Yesterday I got new tires and wiper blades. Lots of older parts on the car.
I've wanted a Porsche for about 42 years. Finally! Just thought I'd say hello and publicly thank my buddy Ed Busam for all the advice.
One issue I've googled and searched is the failure to return to position of my right side mirror when I move out of reverse. Any help or links would be much appreciated.

Jon

Welcome aboard from a fellow Buckeye. If you've been here awhile, you know without pictures it didn't happen. Congrats!

Welcome! It's a great board for knowledge, patience and humour. As a collective, the goal is to have you enjoy your Boxster!

congrats and welcome! I bought a silver 2001 s about a year ago after wanting a true sports car for 40 years - I don't recommend a 40-year wait, but I do highly recommend a Boxster!
