Is there an online part number lookup?

I am looking for the bolt behind the airbag logo in the door panel (short cap screw) and the plastic screw in the door pocket.

Pelicanparts.com has one, but in my opinion the easiest one with the best pictures is auto Atlanta dot com, find the right part there and then order from your desired vendor. Sunset Porsche has diagrams too but auto Atlanta seem.to be more inclusive and have better pictures.

You can always give us a call 1.888.280.7799 and speak with one of our P car specialists. We can find the part you need.

That's what I do. Often I find the part number on Pelican but not listed under my vehicle specifically.

That is probably the easiest, and one of the things I like about Pelican is that they often have the part in stock for immediate shipping, where the other guys often have to order it in from somewhere first and then ship it, so there is often an delay of up to several days.

I use Auto Atlanta dot com. They have a great online parts browser.

Of course, I buy most of my parts from our sponsor since they provide all of the DIY's and shipping is fast and cheap!

Porsche Genuine Parts - Porsche USA and fill in the blanks for your year and model and, in the case of the 986, you will see a pdf of 472 pages of part numbers and parts location diagrams.

I usually just look up the part number in my PDF copy of the PET (the official Porsche parts book for the Boxster).

Then I take that number and enter it in the search box on the Pelican Parts website.

One of the things I really like about the Pelican website is that it will tell you if the part number you entered has been superseded (which can happen when dealing with the PET). It also gives you a choice of suppliers (there are often more than one OEM supplier).
