I am not fond of kids...31 and still don't have any. I like to be reminded why every now and then.

I am 35 and like children a little less than an infectious disease. When I think of all the costs involved of raising them, and all the Porsches I could buy with that money, the choice is easy.

Besides, my girlfriend is 15 years younger than me so it is almost the same as having children.

Cartagena, too bad your parents didn't feel the same way.

PS - do you know the difference between a Porsche and a porcupine?

Yeah, on a porcupine, the pricks are on the OUTSIDE.

I never liked that joke, even before I owned a Porsche. Some of the nicest people I have ever met own Porsches, present company included!

Good point, Randall. While my opinion of children may differ from Cartegena's, it doesn't give me the right to post what amounted to a personal attack for his opinion. My apologies to Cartagena, and others, who may have been offended.

Mine was one of those posts which would have been better left unsent.

No biggie... I was wondering when that old joke would surface here.

While my wife and I decided not to have kids 20+ years ago before we married, I'm a big fan of children, especially children whose parents love them enough long-term to raise them, discipline them, and spend lots of time together learning and laughing.

But the millions of parents who don't raise their children and participate in shaping their morals and behavior are another story completely!

Well that was a very stupid video, made by a very stupid person. I don't hate kids, but I'm defianately not ready to have any for a long time. If ever.

But I have to ask, what exactly was homosexual about this video?

Please, use a word other than "gay" when you want to describe something as obtuse, idiotic, or just downright stupid. Besides, using the word "gay" in this manner does not even make sense with the defintion of the word.

Maybe he needs to go to sensitivity training like Ozzie Guillen (World Champion White Sox Manager!) did!

gay ( P ) Pronunciation Key (g)
adj. gay·er, gay·est

Of, relating to, or having a sexual orientation to persons of the same sex.
Showing or characterized by cheerfulness and lighthearted excitement; merry.
Bright or lively, especially in color: a gay, sunny room.
Given to social pleasures.
Dissolute; licentious.

Maybe he thought it was a happy video!

The kid sure was having fun... a gay old time?

Then again, I second the sensitivity training course

Please read aloud:

I AM WE TODD DEAD
I AM SOFA KING WE TODD DEAD

Believe it or not, I have more hours logged in sensitivity classes then I do on the rifle range. God Bless the Army.

One nice thing about the Boxster is that if I ever did have a child I could put it in the passenger seat and take a corner with enough force so that it would bang its head against the door and pass out. That way I would not have to listen to it make any noise. I would just have to hope it did not have flees or some kind of transmittable disease that it could pass unto me. Oh, and also hope it did not take a dump in my car. But then again I probably would not let it in the car anyway. A long time ago when I had a real job someone brought a baby to the office which I thought was out of place so I told the mother that it smelled bad and made unnecessary noise. Believe it or not, I actually got in trouble for saying this although the office did in fact smell like baby and it did cry loud enough to irritate me. The closest I have ever came to being a father is yesterday when I passed a girl in the Porsche who yelled out "Oye Papi!".

The percentage of Boxster owners that have "Dependent" children might make for an interesting survey!
