This why I had a vasectomy at a very young age.

Rail26 07-10-2006 08:14 PM

I am not fond of kids...31 and still don't have any. I like to be reminded why every now and then.

I am 35 and like children a little less than an infectious disease. When I think of all the costs involved of raising them, and all the Porsches I could buy with that money, the choice is easy.

Besides, my girlfriend is 15 years younger than me so it is almost the same as having children.

Ronzi 07-11-2006 05:10 AM

Cartagena, too bad your parents didn't feel the same way.

PS - do you know the difference between a Porsche and a porcupine?

KronixSpeed 07-11-2006 06:15 AM

South America here I come,

Hold up.........."Besides, my girlfriend is 15 years younger than me so it is almost the same as having children."

You are 35, meaning that your girlfriend is 20.....this is the same guy that has the sexy assistants that clean his car......sweeeettt deal you have going......

I think my boxster and I are moving to South America...............

seeeeu

Yeah, on a porcupine, the pricks are on the OUTSIDE.

I never liked that joke, even before I owned a Porsche. Some of the nicest people I have ever met own Porsches, present company included!

Ronzi 07-11-2006 09:26 AM

Good point, Randall. While my opinion of children may differ from Cartegena's, it doesn't give me the right to post what amounted to a personal attack for his opinion. My apologies to Cartagena, and others, who may have been offended.

Mine was one of those posts which would have been better left unsent.

RandallNeighbour 07-11-2006 10:02 AM

No biggie... I was wondering when that old joke would surface here.

While my wife and I decided not to have kids 20+ years ago before we married, I'm a big fan of children, especially children whose parents love them enough long-term to raise them, discipline them, and spend lots of time together learning and laughing.

But the millions of parents who don't raise their children and participate in shaping their morals and behavior are another story completely!

Ronzi, you are a gentleman!

KronixSpeed 07-11-2006 03:54 PM

lol...i love kids, and love other peoples kids even more......

i guess i am too younge, a kid you might say.....i've never heard that joke....lol. pretty funny.

lol

Wintermute 07-11-2006 04:10 PM

Well that was a very stupid video, made by a very stupid person. I don't hate kids, but I'm defianately not ready to have any for a long time. If ever.

But I have to ask, what exactly was homosexual about this video?

Please, use a word other than "gay" when you want to describe something as obtuse, idiotic, or just downright stupid. Besides, using the word "gay" in this manner does not even make sense with the defintion of the word.

Maybe he needs to go to sensitivity training like Ozzie Guillen (World Champion White Sox Manager!) did! :)

creseida 07-11-2006 05:46 PM

I think if it was edited to, "Wee Todd Id" ....

gay ( P ) Pronunciation Key (g)
adj. gay·er, gay·est

Of, relating to, or having a sexual orientation to persons of the same sex.
Showing or characterized by cheerfulness and lighthearted excitement; merry.
Bright or lively, especially in color: a gay, sunny room.
Given to social pleasures.
Dissolute; licentious.

Maybe he thought it was a happy video!

The kid sure was having fun... a gay old time?

Then again, I second the sensitivity training course :)

Rail26 07-11-2006 08:10 PM

Please read aloud:

I AM WE TODD DEAD
I AM SOFA KING WE TODD DEAD

Believe it or not, I have more hours logged in sensitivity classes then I do on the rifle range. God Bless the Army.

One nice thing about the Boxster is that if I ever did have a child I could put it in the passenger seat and take a corner with enough force so that it would bang its head against the door and pass out. That way I would not have to listen to it make any noise. I would just have to hope it did not have flees or some kind of transmittable disease that it could pass unto me. Oh, and also hope it did not take a dump in my car. But then again I probably would not let it in the car anyway. A long time ago when I had a real job someone brought a baby to the office which I thought was out of place so I told the mother that it smelled bad and made unnecessary noise. Believe it or not, I actually got in trouble for saying this although the office did in fact smell like baby and it did cry loud enough to irritate me. The closest I have ever came to being a father is yesterday when I passed a girl in the Porsche who yelled out "Oye Papi!".

Jump 07-12-2006 02:59 AM

The percentage of Boxster owners that have "Dependent" children might make for an interesting survey!

Cartagena, I think you have a good sense of humor, but this is a little off-base. As a father, you never want to see your children hurt or in pain in any way. I know you are trying to just be funny, so this is really no big deal. But, remeber there are a lot of abused children in this world, and that is very sad. :(

Maybe someday your feelings will change about children, and you will open your heart to them and give them the love they so much deserve. If you can't do this, then you are making the right decision about not having children, and I say good for you!

mquillen 07-12-2006 06:26 AM

Ah ease up a little guys. The only problem I see is getting the kid to pass out before he throws up all over your interior.

KronixSpeed 07-12-2006 06:48 AM

LOL....you guys are all whack, i hate how all these threads get takin over by useless thoughts...........that have nothing to do with the post. always someone trying to make a joke of whats being said or being to critical of whats trying to be said.

now back to the original post.......the best part is the kids dad is obviously filming his son ruin his gear box. n the kid being a kid, which wasn't so gay......lol. if you saw my videos of me being a kid, they probably would resemble something to this effect.......as long as the kid is having fun...who cares.

My response of OMG, was because the father lets him do this to his PORSCHE........................................... .................................................. ...........

seeeeu

Brucelee 07-13-2006 07:17 AM

My experience. You always love your own children, other children, not so much.

I have one son who is just great.

You can guess the rest.

Good stuff!

Silver 07-13-2006 07:53 AM

It sounds like I'm the only one who thought the video was a least a LITTLE funny... like 10% funny. No. Maybe more like 5%. It's what the kid says "Look at me in my PORSCHE.... 120, 140, 190, 200!!" I know many many many many guys that sound EXACTLY like that, it's just amusing. Okay, maybe I sound like that sometimes too.

Or maybe it's just been a very long week at work.

TriGem2k 07-13-2006 11:26 AM

Alright, Alright....You guys found my video.....darn parents just couldn’t resist not putting it on the internet.

olly986 07-17-2006 03:39 PM

sorry did not found this funny whatsoever, i just wished that the little faker was actually driving, the sound of the boxster would have been higher than his/her muterings!!

by the way i have 4 great kids, second boxster, and life is good, just hope your ladies are of age cartagena, posting under age girls can be dangerous!!
