Anyway, have a blast tinting your windows but give a thought to the people on the other side of the glass. And, oh yeah, how do you think a cop feels approaching a car he can't see into?

People who aren't responsible shouldn't have window tint... however people that aren't responsible shouldn't be driving in the first place. 99% of the time I drive with my top down and when it isn't I always use proper precautions. Responsible people also put their windows or top down when pulled over so as not to piss off law enforcement.

I agree. A while back (97 blue boxster) I was stoped by NYPD under cover police. Four guys came around my car with huge flashlights. They said I was speeding (45 in 35 mp) but let me go. I think the reason they stop me be because of my tint windows.
The next day I took off my window tint.

I'm way ahead of you bro. I've done exactly that already, however this is just a good (older) shot of my tint job. It's sound advice, so I thank you anyway.

Thanks for the compliment! My car is neither lowered nor 19ed. Just a good angle of the car with my 18s. I fully support your decision to tint.

As a pedestrian or motorcyclist, I think you should assume the drivers can't see you -tinted windows or not.
It's plenty hot here in TX. Not tinting the driver's window would look utterly bizarre!

I just looking for a light tint anyway...just to take the edge of the blazing desert sun.
