I've got a vintage Rolex DateJust with a fluted bexel, jubilee bracelet and a blue stick dial. It used to be my father's, but when I turned 40, he gave it to me.

Since then, I've started building watches myself. Here's some of them...https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...ee051bb0c3.jpg

I have a bit of a collection. Probably change what I am wearing every other day. This is today's piece.

A true beauty ...my second dream watch after a Breitling

Thought I was alone in my obsession with time......my collection now stands at 71 pieces: pocket watches, digital, battery, wind, self wind, whatever. Some are pricey but most are modestly priced and I buy what I find interesting. My favorite is a Timex Snoopy and the Red Baron my mom gave me for my fourth birthday in 1969- it still indeed keeps ticking- same for mom.

Here's a neat watch that recently came to market:

Autodromo also has some nice racing-inspired watches:

Thanks! This one I've had for 16 yrs, and it's been super reliable.

I've been a Tag fan for many years. It's my only watch besides a Pre railroad pocket watch.

I'm a fan and have a small collection - here's the latest one I waited a few months for (kickstarter campaign)https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...3c6adf0723.jpg

I'm late to the party, here is my meager collection, 2 Casio Oceanus (Atomic clock radio and solar), Invicta something or other automatic I use for swimming and diving, and a Microsoft band, which I have been wearing lately for step counting, heart rate, etc...

I too have a love for fine timepieces, the precision and simplicity of Porsche Design are my favourites, as is my Boxster S, greatest sports car ever conceived!http://986forum.com/forums/uploads02...1496677213.jpg

I have more than a few. This is my current favorite, it's my Dad's vinyage 1969 Bulova Accutron vertical day/date I recently had restored.

This one has a bit of history: My uncle, who served in the USAF, bought this watch in Germany in the early 1960s. He gave it to me for safekeeping when I was a kid. Its a special occasion watch for me. (currently my daily wear is iWatch. I also have a TAG).

Beat around watch is a generic Casio G-Shock.

Traco 06-13-2017 02:28 AM

@borz - super Porsche collection.

Really like the speedmasters and would like a vintage one or a SS Panerai to add to my limited collection

Daily beater

Day to Day business watch, have it a long time now and it never misses a beat. I really like it.

The big one - only comes out now and again. Like the fact that most people even those that think they know watches don't even comment on it.

Can sometimes steal my eyes from the road, but this one is my favorite to wear on a twisty drive:

Gorgeous watch. What year is that? 70's?

1973, give or take. A horological 'barn find', having sat untouched from the mid 1980's until last year, when the case was opened for the first time since new to have the movement serviced, case seals and crystal replaced. Thanks for the opportunity to brag. Nobody I know cares a lick about watches!

It's a great find! The case shape gave it away as being a 70's watch. It's a popular shape with Autodromo brand whose watches are influenced by seventies design. I'm a big fan of seventies industrial design.

Here are my watches in order I bought them (Seiko, Tag Heuer Sport Elegance, 50th Anniversary Rolex Sub, and Apple Watch) . I wore them all a fair amount, but am sad to say that tracking my activity has me wearing the one on the far right right now.

Oh, this one is my speed! And I like the orange band!

Casio CFX-200 Scientific Calculator Watch

I wore one of these in college back in the 80's. Amazing technology, especially for the early 80's!

I currently have two in pristine condition, one with the standard band, the other with a deployment clasp band. I also have a non-working parts one.
