Trunk Switch

I'm hoping someone can help, my rear trunk switch is pushed into the plastic side cover, i'm hoping someone can tell me hoe to remove that cover as I've looked at it and it's on there really snug. Is it as simple as using a trim tool to pop out the two trim plughs at the front of the cover?

No.
you need to remove two plastic cups from the side of the panel.
then insert a 5mm Allen key. do not remove the bolts completely, just turn it few turns.
now you are ready to pull the panel up.
let me see if i have some pics.
