If you park the car before it gets cold, and then don't start it up until it is warm again, how can bore scoring even possibly be an issue?
Before I insulated and heated my garage, my car was stored over the winter in temperatures sometimes colder than -40, but it was never run at those temps and I have never had a problem. Don't worry about it.
