Prototype Changes

This may have been discussed before, but there were some cool elements on the Boxster prototype that Porsche created. One was the cooling intake. Any ideas on why they changed the shape and location?

Simple. That location would suck up tons of spray and debris thrown up by the front wheels.

Good point ... so the prototype would only have been good for southern California!
It does have some subtle styling that looks very cool!
