Guess what I installed...and screwed up again.
I installed the rear spoiler switch,$25 bucks via Sunset and MNBoxster's instructions. I also installed a new throttle body intermediate shaft and tried to install a new nut(one of the four nuts was stuck and split in two,so a new one was in line)......Well I went to change shafts,no problem, a little bit of a pain but no biggie. I went to install the fourth or four nuts, and the nut fell out of the wrench and is no where to be found. So now I still have the problem of three of the four nuts connecting the throttle body to the intermediate shaft. This defied the whole point of me ordering the new shaft and nut. Attached are some pics of the old nut stuck and the new switch. Next week's project, installation of a Nakamichi CD-400.
Thanks MNBoxster! |
I hope that didn't fall in to the intake manifold. Sucks you lost that nut but what can you do. Things get lost into the motor and shaken out as you drive, happened to me enough times on my different cars.
Good job working on the car yourself tho, too many people seek a mechanic for stuff like this and never get to know their car really. I'm gonna do that spoiler switch as well, thats cool. |
