Led tail lights

Recently purchased led tail lights for me 2000 Boxster, load resistors were included, as well as 1157 male adapters. when I supply 12 volt current from test/power wire, all lights work fine, but when I install them on car and connect power,nothing works. (yes, I have the key switched on). Any ideas ?????

Be sure to confirm the polarity is correct. From my bike experience LEDs will not work with the polarity reversed.

+1 for polarity...

If your the one who inserted the bulbs/LED in the tailight, keep in mind pins cannot be inserted in any direction like a conventional bulbs.

Porsche in their infinite wisdom has the center pin as ground and the case as +12v, so unless the LED is reverse wired, it won't work

With some LEDs reverse polarity kills them. Cjheck that they still work by applying 12V to them with the correct polarity.

reverse polarity should not harm them as they are diodes which by nature block reverse voltage
