2001 Boxster O2 sensors

Just replaced my old ones after having CEL light with code P0240

Got them at ******************************************************************************************** and they are the exact replacement for the old ones including the Porsche part number being stamped on.

Prices inc shipping would make your FIRST POST seem legit and useful.
Did you check Pelican first ? Or Jason at Warehouse 33 ?

Please do not follow this advice about buying using the Bosch part number or an Interchange number.. Use ONLY the correct Porsche part number for your year and engine size. Some of the interchange charts for Bosch say BOSCH 13806 fits the model cited above (2001 S) .It does not fit.That is the part number for the 97-99 Boxster with the shorter cable and a completely different connector. You can find an example of this by looking on the Rock Auto site.Which is why you should use Pelican !
If you use the correct Porsche part number, you will be golden.
For my 2001 S, the correct part numbers are (but please verify for yours!)
Upstream = 986 606 127 01
Downstream = 986 606 128 01
Be careful you don't get xxxxxxx 126 01 That is the older model part .
I hope you can read between the lines about why I have become a reluctant expert on this confusion.

Bosch makes the part for Porsche. Porsche stencils their part number onto it, boxes it and marks it up. If you remove the old part, record the Bosch part number and order that one with pigtail, you should be just fine and your wallet finer by a bunch. I was twice for my '01S.

There is a table here listing O2 sensors part numbers from Porsche and Bosch. It is, to the best of my knowledge, accurate as of a few years ago. I invite corrections.
