multi colored grill...what happened

hey guys...it's been a month since i've had it but i guess i never stared at it upfront

any guesses on why i have a gray grill on the driver's side and a white one on the pass. side?

Looks to me like someone replaced one and didn't get the right part number...how odd that you didnt' notice it before. Paint the lighter one to match, or buy a new part.

This is related to the service item they just performed on my 987. Apparently they've solved the discoloration problem with these types of pieces and that's why they replaced them on my car.

Definitely looks like one of your was replaced at onep oint or another and the other was not.

both of mine were greyed like yours when i bought mine...with a little paint, it looks alot better

Mine are semi greyed, I wonder why it was replaced thats the question. Accident maybe? I just cant imagine anyone saying, "I think I will replace one grill insert." Atleast you only need to paint or replace one now.

i removed the bumper and popped them out to paint. It wassnt too hard.
