Like the entire front of the Jag E Type tilting open. Safety is concern no doubt but some kind of clam shell access where the rear of the Boxster from the roll bars back would magically tilt up and away would have been wonderful.

Ok, its not street legal but a beautiful example of a similar car is the Porsche 906...

Agreed ! I wonder how long it takes to separate the 2 parts?
We do Astons and customers will tell us - it is easy , "you just lift the body off and leave everything else on the ground." Then we show them the hours of labor required....
