Need suggestions...

Just got done washing the car and I thought I would post some pics...

The only thing I don't like is the radiator guards.

Any suggestions ?

I saw this at performance products but not sure how it would look :

Nick,

Nice looking boxster :)

I've never used the mesh grills on any of my cars before, but I know they can be had on eBay for significantly less than the website you linked to.

Good luck!

You can make your own mesh guards for a lot less money:

Hi,

Save your money for RMS job! Better to have a properly running car than to have the best looking Dead Horse in the driveway...

Happy Motoring!... Jim'99

Thanks, Jim ! Saw your other post...

Guess I'll be holding off on the cosmetics for awhile :(

I bought a set when I first got my Box (Birthday present from my sister, actually). I didn't buy them as a fashion statement (they aren't stylish, IMO); I bought them solely for protection. I live in a rural area where the roads aren't always great and rocks come flying up off tires, where large flying insects, and unfortunately birds, often commit suicide (I've hit easily 1/2 dozen flying birds this year--in my Jeep--and I've done my best to miss them), and general debris winds up on the road from all sorts of places.

Yes, once I saw them, I realised I could probably make them, but they paid for themselves in the first two weeks when, during a thunderstorm a branch got lodged in my new mesh grille. Saved me from having to buy a new radiator, so I have NO regrets. ;) But, that is just me. :)

I think I will paint them matte black though...one of these days....eventually...whenever I get around to it; the aluminum look isn't my favourite.

I had mine painted when my bumper got keyed. It definately improves the look of the car.
