Killer deal on Ebay today!

I just didn't have the cash to buy this set of Eibach Pro-Street Coilovers for my boxster, but I sure wish I had! Wow. They closed at half of what he paid for them...

Hey Randall - another couple of interesting deals....

TPC Supercharger #1

TPC Supercharger #2

My wife's heading out of town next week. I'm seriously contemplating buying this and having it installed while she's gone - I like the idea of another around 60 hp. But after reading some stuff about this over on Pete's BBS (one of these came off a Boxster where the engine blew) - I don't know if I could handle any more stress about my engine blowing....

Pete, do you have the link on PPBB where the SC'd boxster engine blew?

I'd like to read that before I pull the trigger on a SC kit!

Randall -

If you're refering to Trent Carter's car, i spoke w/ Cars II in Melbourne (installer) about his mishap. Essentially, he undersized the pulley against their recommendation. He got on the throttle a bit hard before he let the motor warm up. Cold air + undersized pulley + 11.5:1 compression ratio = boom.

i saw the motor, but didn't get a chance to really peel over it. i'm not sure if it leaned out under boost or if it blew a head gasket or what. installer said it lost cylinder pressure, so i'm inclined to think the head gasket blew.

coilovers in Houston? I thought someone told me the roads there are horrible?
But it is nice to actually be able to adjust ride height as opposed to just rolling the dice with lowering springs. I'm constantly checking my air pressure to keep the ride comfort level on the brutal NYC streets as civilized as possible. After driving regular sedan this week I forget how low the Boxster sits stock. I was actually able to use the drive-thru ATM without getting out!
