what year is your car? is it an s? is it manual or tip? assuming it's a base 986 with a manual transmission and no M030 package, you have:
Front: 23.1 mm diameter, 3.4 mm thick Rear: 18.5 mm diameter, 2.5 mm thick for the money, you can't beat the M030 in my opinion. still very comfortable while providing some extra stiffness. the front sway bar in the BASE M030 package is the same as the BASE boxster S. there is a boxster S M030 front, though, that is even thicker: Front: 24.0 mm diameter, 3.8 mm thick (21% stiffer than stock) Rear: 19.6 mm diameter, 2.6 mm thick (25% stiffer than stock) the part numbers are : M030 Front 'S': 996.343.701.10 ($105.28 from Sunset Imports) M030 Rear BASE: 986.333.701.20 ($ 70.12 from Sunset Imports) make sure to get the BASE rear sway; it's a lot thicker than the 'S' rear M030. also get the corresponding bushings (about $20 for all of them). |
thanks insite! that is exactly what i was looking for.

no sweat. if your car has higher mileage, you may want to replace the drop links while you're down there. they list at $40, but can be had for around $26 each.
