There’s a helicopter in my dashboard

Before I rip apart the front of my car to attempt to fix the horrible noise coming from the dashboard on the passenger side…does anyone have any advice?

When I turn the AC on, the blower makes an awful sound. The faster it spins the worse it gets. Does anyone know if I need to replace the motor or has something gotten stuck. Anyone else with this problem…

GW

Do a thread search on this topic. I asked about it two weeks ago and was told that it's some foam rubber stuck inside the fan assembly. One only needs to remove some stuff under the passenger dash to find it and remove it with tweezers.

No more helicopter sounds, unless you want to safety pin a Joker card to the spokes of your rims like we did when we were kids!

I always preferred to use my old baseball cards myself...louder noise....

Thanks for the help. I will see if I can find that foam.
