From accident or poor jacking

Funny, I've looked in my frunk a hundred times
And never noticed. Son pointed out. Wonder if another
Surprise accident. Bad jacking up job or accident?

Jacking. My aluminum brace in the rear has jack marks and had a tear I had welded.

It ain't hard but many screw it up or don't have a low enough jack.

I had a "helper" try and help jack my car at the track one time, he randomly slid it under the car and started flailing away on the handle, luckily the handle was in the release position so nothing happened...

That would've given me a heart attack! I wonder how many times they have done that? I have seen some people really mess up their vehicles with improper jacking techniques.

My frunk floor got damaged like that when the village idiot road workers left a gap in the pavement across the road. In the dark.

In my opinion, I believe someone hit something like road debris or a high approach angle. I see lots of boxsters with slight damage on the front area of the frunk. The bumper cover in that area also gets torn up. That's one reason I don't tailgate. You'll also find damage on the sides from hitting curbs while turning.

+1.

Looks to me like someone drove up on top of a parking curb...

I have some distortion in those same areas (it has been a while since I had the carpet off in there but I remember seeing something) and my front bumper cover is scraped all up from the previous owner... It may just be front that.

Thanks everyone. The car aligned so no worries I guess.

Funny to me that I am a big picture person and totally looked right by them. Son is detailed oriented and noticed his first time looking in frunk in less than ten seconds.

After I lowered car I went out of friends driveway very very slowly. Like snail pace. Heard it start to rub and reversed course. Maybe that was it.
