I wish someone could invent a procedure to powder coat PU/Plastic parts like the side air vents...to make it even more complicated, with a chrome (or maybe nickel) finish.

But I won't give up, I know, someday it will be possible

YouTube is your friend here, watch videos and pick out which method suits what you are trying to do. For calipers, I never liked blasting them unless you take them completely apart as the sand or other media gets into everything no matter how you try to seal it off.
