For fairly generic parts like brake shoes, rotors, hoses, etc, I have found Rockauto.com to be pretty competitive with local prices here in B.C. For more specific (exotic?) parts, Pelican, design911, FCPEuro and others are worth looking at, depending on what our dollar is doing.I've probably started a firestorm here, but that has been my experience so far.
 Cheers.

My experience has been that for Porsche parts, after adding in exchange and shipping, the price I get from the local dealership is about the same as what it would cost me from Pelican, and I don't have to wait three weeks to get my parts.
Aftermarket consumables like filters, belts, plugs, etc. are available at reasonable prices and usually in stock from places like PartSource, AutoValue, or Napa.

Check out autopartsway.ca. Canadian prices and the parts are shipped out of Canada. Right now parts are 10% off and free shipping. I've bought a lot of parts from them for my Porsches with good results at great prices.

Then you've had better luck than me. I prefer to buy Canadian but every time I've checked the Canadian sites, including this one, the prices are worse than shipping from the states. Bottom line it sucks to be north of the 49th when looking for Porsche parts

for performance stuff, ilker at sportscarboutique is good to work with and pricing, once you factor in shipping, exchange, and duty, as the same as ordering direct from the us.

I've recently used Euro Parts in Canada! | GermanParts.ca for the box and have been very happy with pricing and customer service.

Also don't forget when you order from the states Mr Trudeau still nails you with the HST and when you get shipments from the states ask for US postal service because the companies like UPS and Federal Express nail you with broker fees plus the 30% exchange on the dollar.

You should go on-line and research CASC car clubs out there. Its our version of SCCA. I know there`s a few. They need parts too.Read their forums and if you can post the same thing as here.

I've used AutoPartsWay before, with one of their Holiday 10% off & free shipping deals. My Indie was still less expensive, so now I always see him first.

Whenever possible I book a job across the border and get a loaner car while they are doing the work on my boxsterS... much cheaper and you can get some shopping down at the same time.
