Why wouldn't you get yourself lined up, let out the clutch a little to get it rolling, and then push in the clutch again and roll into the spot? If its uphill, you can just slip the clutch momentarily to get in the spot. I can't imagine backing into the spot at enough speed that I'd be off the clutch entirely.
