Rick (Redtele58) bought that one from me to convert to a spec car and I was stripping the interior. I had the hardtop on it then because I had already removed the soft top.

I owned the hardtop, I didn't find it any quieter than the soft top. I liked the look and left it on for two years, actually forgetting what it was like to drive with the top down. Then I sold it and replaced it with my 996tt.
