Smoke from passenger air vent

I washed my car today and while I was talking to my friend I was spraying water to my car and I must have ignored the vents.

I did not drive the car at all after the car wash.

I started driving today and everything went normal. Once I started parking my car I started smelling smoke (or steam smoke) coming from the passenger air vent.

Is it the water? I just drove the car again and some more smoke came up.

Checked all temp gauge and everything seems normal. The car runs perfect.

Could it damage anything?

Thanks in advance!

If it's exceptionally hot/humid it might just be water vapour from the wash. I've had this before a couple of times in my current car (TT). I could see the air coming out of the vents...does it smell like smoke though?

Were you running the AC? It's not unusual for water vapor in the air to reach it's condensation point in the stream of cold air coming from the vent. It probably doesn't have anything to do with the car wash.

Nope the AC was turned off.

Hmm, I see what you are saying but the water will vaporize only after I would stop, not while speeding.

It has stopped doing it now so I would believe it was excessive water at the car wash that was thrown inside the vents.
