detailing and Boxster logo

Calling all detailing fanatics...

Does the Boxster logo lift up and return easily (and intact), or do I get out the Q-tips?

No. Yes.

Now I must return to the next exciting episode of "As Acceleration Turns". Makes me wish for the days of discussing shimmys....

Taking it off just to wax is a bad idea, it is mounted on a spongy adhesive pad substance that would not work well in reuse. If you really want to do it, get another fresh logo to replace it with.

Whew, thanks.

Glad I didn't try it.

If you have left over white wax residue in panel gaps, on the badges, or on rubber seals etc, use Peanut Butter to get it off. Works great. Tasty too.

PS - Don't use chunky

Griot's Garage sell Boar's hair detailing brushes that come in a set of three. They're excellent quality, great for that kind of work and won't harm your paint.

I'm just glad I'm not the guy who plucks the hair out of the Boars
