It's two HARD days of driving to get to the dragon from Houston, my friend. What we're talking about is a much shorter version of it that's just 30 minutes from our homes and for some forum members who have to drive the speed limit because they've been caught being naughty, 45 minutes away.

I am planning a road trip there in April however, with a buddy who has a MR2 Spyder with a Supra engine in it. I think we should put together a forum meet there in April and get as many members to come as possible. What fun!

RandallNeighbour,

Can you hear the Valentine with the top down or do you rely on the visuals ? Thought about trading in my Escort Solo S2 ( can't hear it ).

Also, I would totally be in for a forum meet at the tail in April. Only 650 miles from Chicago !

Nick

The V1 is nice and loud with the top down. Now with the top down and the CD player blaring, I rely on the arrows, numbers, etc. but that would be the case with any detector I think.

On our trip to northern California last year, I was driving top down with the wife asleep next to me and the detector went off and just about made her jump out of the seat as it caught her by surprise.

I know.... great idea.....we should all meet up in the UK!!!!!

* Your speeding tickets will never get through
* Driving on the other side of the road makes it more exciting
* The weather is rubbish (trash!!)
* Could do the whole country in a day
* You could make all the English people excited by calling them 'dude'!
* Its close to my house!!!

Yep your right, should not have posted this one!!

Will, great to have you aboard the Boxster forum and the Boxster fold of owners!

Yup, you just gotta order a manual for your car and read it thoroughly. It has all kinds of goodies in it!
