QUestion regarding black wheels and powdercoating
I'm sure this is a longshot but does anyone have a pic of a powdercoated 18" factory rim I believe its the twist or turbo twist factory wheel? I did some seaches and found some pictures but I can't tell if they are the same rims I have. I have a 2002 with 18" rims, whatever the 18" option is that year is what they are. Anyway I want black rims, I'm unsure whether to powedercoat my rims or just get a set of black rims and then sell my wheels? Does anyone have any suggestions or even better any experiences. I assume powdercoating is about $100-$150 per wheel. If anyone has a pic that would be wonderful of the factory 18" rim in black it would make my day. Thanks.

Thank you, thats perfect they all look great. I think I will go for it!

Go for it - looks fantastic. I would choose paint over powdercoat, though, as powdercoating heats the wheel and *may* weaken the structure. Not proven, but it might. Paint is applied without baking the wheel surface like on powdercoating.
