I saw something that BMW employed a lot of aging workforce due to work ethic and skill. Their work area is adjusted accordingly to better fit them ergonomically . From someone who has worked in a supervisory role (until 3 years ago) I can say that a lot of the younger workforce today has an abysmal work ethic.
Back in 1971 my father opened a Porsche/Audi dealership in Ft. Worth Texas. One of first deals made was with 911S sunroof coupe, the trade in for it was a Ferrari 275 GTB4. They gave the customer $8700 for car, OMG should have kept that car! But it was sold to someone in Colorado for about $11K.
That vintage of 911 is worth around $100-200K and up, that Ferrari is $1-2Mil!
We also had 4 low mileage 914/6 on the used car lot that nobody wanted (except me!)! One of them was traded in for a new Audi S90 wagon.....what were they thinking!
