18"S wheels on a Base 986

Looking at a set of wheels stock 18". '01S. 225 - 265 want to be sure they'll work on my '02 base car I currently have stock 17" wheels
I don't know much about offset etc

Take a look here at this offset calculator:
Wheel Offset Calculator | 1010Tires.com Discount Online Tire and Wheel Store

Your current offsets are on the rim by the tire stem:

Without knowing the offsets, my guess is you won't have any problems if they came off of another Boxster. If they came from a 911 you might have to get spacers.

I have these 18's on my '99 from a 911. My Box has "S" brakes and I didn't need spacers.

They will fit fine, I have similar setups on my 98 and 01.
