Anyone around Seattle have a Durametric tool / DME reader?
Greetings!
Is there anyone near Seattle who has a DME tool/Durametric that might be able to help me retrieve a radio code for a PCM-1 (I know, that worthless old relic)? Just joined the club and bought a 00' S about a month ago; excited to join the community! In a hurry home Friday night, I left the lights on when I locked the car, overnight. With a bit of trouble, I hacked together a cigarette lighter adapter for a programmable battery charger. The PCM-1 is asking for a code now. The gentleman I purchased the car from had written the code down, but lacked the original cards. Of course, the number recorded didn't actually work. Cheers! --Chris |
Look on the options sticker in the front trunk, smart mechanics often write it there. Also if you have the original book where services were recorded.

Perhaps I ask a dealer very nicely to look it up? http://986forum.com/forums/uploads02/01476837151.jpg Thanks! |
