I got rid of the chunking/rattling noise in the back by replacing the 2 rear lower control arms with 987 parts (recommended over the 986 ones): 987 331 043 02 also known as TRW JTC1316.

Now I want to do the 2 in the front as well.
The OEM part for the 986 is: 99634104306

TRW are still out of stock.
OEM are over priced

Anyone have the EPS brand rebuild version installed?

Try Meyle instead.

The rear track arm for the 997, part 99733104301 is the same as the front arm.for 986 and I think is why the 986 trw front arm.is no longer available. Meyle makes this arm.and on their site it cross references to 986 front, 996 front and rear, 997 rear. I ordered a pair from FCPEuro and they sent TRW. They were a perfect match and I'm running them on my car right now. I have another thread somewhere with more details.

Received the parts from FCPEuro and they were indeed Meyle, they didn't send me TRWs like Steved0X received.

I didn't know how much shorter the front ones were until now.
