Glove Compartment Alarm Sensor
2003 986S
Figured out why my Boxster has started beeping once when I lock the car with the remote: the car thinks the glove compartment is open. Proved this to myself by opening it with the top down and not triggering the alarm. In contrast, opening the storage bin in the cosnole between the seats did trigger the alarm. Is this an adjustement or does a sensor/swith need to be replaced? If a replacment is needed can anyone help me with the part number, the location of the sensor, and help on accessing it? Many thanks, Carlos |
