999999 odometer

Hi I´m new here, so have patiente...
I´ve change today a dead batery of my Boxter 2.5 1998, and the odometer show 999999 km.
The real km are about 83.000km
How can I solve this ??

I had this happen once, very strange. Try disconnecting and reconnecting the battery, that solved it for me. :cheers:
