986 2004 2.7 tiptronic Vs 996 carrera 4 2001 3.6 tiptronic

Hello,

A friend of mine is selling his 996 carrera 4, 2001 year, tiptronic with 76k miles and he makes me a offer to trade with my boxster 2.7 2004 facelift tiptronic with 51k miles on board..

I was wondering except the horse power the AWD and 2 small seat at back what are the advantage compare it with mine?

Could u please help me on that with your feedback?

Marios

It will lose less value over time, especially a carrera 4, even though 996 aren't really loved, they are still 911's.

It is also 400lbs heavier I think, but you have 100 more hp!

First question I ask is why? Why does he want to do this. Is there an issue with the 911?
