Cleaning top.

I have the 303 cleaner/sealer kit for my convertible top, and noticed the last one I used the cleaner it got ALOT of dirt out of the top since I have to park the car outside. I've decided I'd like to use the cleaner every couple months or so. My question is do I have to reapply the sealer every time I clean the top? Does the cleaner remove the water repelling sealer?

I could not find any information that explicitly says if 303 cleaner will strip the waterproofing. I would recommend emailing 303 directly about it, but my guess would be, if it isn't stripping the waterproofing it is at least diminishing it. Since you are parking outside I would probably re-waterproof the top after cleaning, just to maintain the UV protection provided by the waterproofing.

I agree with Rick. I'd re-seal it every time I clean it. Usually 2x per year is all that is needed, unless you're parking under a tree each day.

I'm the 2nd owner to use 303 and my top is the original 16 year old top - it still looks great! Whatever it does...works. I'm happy with that!

Thanks guys-303 is great stuff. The water repelling action is impressive. I forgot it also provides UV protection, so it will apply a thin coat every time I clean it.

where can I buy Nanodyze? Aparently the Ragg topp people are no longer taking orders. I ordered Set. 2 , got a nice thank you acknowledgement but no product. Need to do this NOW. Nanodyze or Nanolex sounds better. Where to order?
