Brake lights just blinking
 

When I put my foot on the brake, the lights just flicker for a split second and do not stay lit.
I replaced the switch and the same thing happens.

I see that there is a secondary switch that looks like it should be hooked up to the brake pedal, but there is no connection between the two.


What should I look at now?
