Convertible top hooks?

I recently noticed that the headliner for my 2000 convertible top has a short strap on both the left and right sides, ending in a small plastic hook. The straps / hooks presumably anchor the lining to the car body somewhere behind the rear of the doors to keep the lining from flailing around. I have no idea where they are supposed to hook into…

Thanks,

Keith

Dealer took care of mine ..

When I purchased my 00 S a couple months ago I noticed one of the hooks was loose and not connected to anything. I couldn't figure out how to get it connected again.

I brought it to the dealer and they were able to connect it in a very short time, free of charge.
