Shimmy and shake

Hi all, I'm brand spank'in new to this forum.
I bought an 04 Boxster S Feb 2016. Love it a ton. Haven't been out much but just last week had him on the hwy and there is a definite
shimmy in the steering on what I believe to be the left front when I reach 100km's per hr and above. My tire guy says all is good with the tire...(Mich Pilot Sport ) and balance and all components that could cause the steering wheel to shake like it does.
Maybe someone here has insight for me.
Thanks and happy to be part of this!

If you've determined it's not tires, I'd suspect tie rod ends, drop links as those are the cheap things to replace.

Best way to find out is to get under it with it up on a lift or Jack stands and see what has play in it.

It actually could be a tire.
I had a vibration that only happened over 80 mph. I had the tires rebalanced and it was still there

I put new tires on and no problem since

If you can, try a different set of wheels and tires and see if you still have the problem

When they balance a tire, it does not spin at highway speeds, much slower

Jay that was my thought too, Grand hitter if your tires are older than 5 years, they should be replaced regardless of tread depth. Just replaced mine and the difference is incredible
