Bondo no stick to bumperette?

Had a bubble in one of the bumperettes. Just refinished them last year due to cracking. Previous owner.

This year a bubble. It was the bondo came loose from the rubber. Is there a secret?

Bondo won't stay on a substrate that flexes.

Doh!

Any way to fix cracks in a bumperette without ordering another?

I painted them.
I used a spray can primer and high heat exhaust paint.
It's been more than a year now, and still looks great!

I have matched paint, and clear coat, but the cracks show through the paint. Maybe I'll try caulk and scrape it flat?

Or Woddy. Hate to order one when its just a little cracking.
