Microswitch under console? Not parking brake?

A couple of weeks ago I removed my console to repaint. When I was disassembling I had issue removing the cable next to parking brake but assumed it would go back together simply. Well, now I'm trying to reinstall and I'm confused because I'm realizing this isn't for the parking brake. Anyone know what it is and have a pic of the parts explosion so I can see it's orientation?

Also noticed the parking brake cover is chipped up. Can I buy this part separately? Anyone have one in a goodie box they are willing to sell?

Thanks for looking. Once I get these last bits figured out, I'll post a picks of the whole process and before and after pics.

Second on Jim's statement that it's tied to the oddment box latch. With that unattached the alarm will give a short goose honk when you arm it.

I've got the latch figured out, thanks for the info. Still looking for the parking brake plastic cover if anyone has an idea...

Make sure that's in black, not silver or gray. But that should handle it I think. Probably should call them to confirm.
