Center Dash Console

Another question for my new friends at the 986forum.

Yesterdays question discussed a broken cupholder trim piece. Today's question is as follows:

Will a 1999 to 2001 center dash console fit a 2004 Boxster S?

Best,
Brad

Take a look at PET--there are a bunch of "behind" parts that are different, one being the nozzle from the hvac hose to the outlet grille. And more things.

IMHO you're better off replacing your broken cup holder and would probably come out ahead cost wise. The beauty of the '03-'04 system is that you can have both cup holders and a double-din radio, which you can't with the older configuration.

Yes, I know is's all macho to poo poo cup holders, but maybe your passenger would like one.

Will not fit, the later models horse shoes are separate parts instead of one unit.
