Driverside window question/problem
 

I tried to search, but don't even know the terms to use......

When I open the drivers side door, the window does not go down the 1/2 inch or so. I can physically push it down, and when I close the door it goes back up. If I use the switch, the window goes up and down fine, and if I put the top down the window works fine. Sometimes I think I can hear an odd sound when the window is going down, but I don't know if it is just in my head or not.

Any ideas on the problem, and/or how to repair?

Does the window drop when you pull from the inside or outside handles?

Not from either handle. Or if it does, I can't see it.

The cable in the regulator is known to stretch overtime. It won't drop, if it is too stretched out. They will fail eventually. Replacing the regulator is fairly straight forward. The Bentley manual walks you right through it. I had mixed results with the bike cable adjuster and finally replaced both sides.
