Hey guys,

I've enjoyed this board and really appreciated everyones help.

So I'll post this here first
I have brand new HR springs from tirerack and the Sport Muffler that I just bought from the ebay german guys...... iwant to get at least $700 for both..

So you have sold your third Porsche?

I have a feeling you'll be buying a Boxster again some day.
I have been actively looking at 911 C4 Cabriolets lately.
So hard to find EXACTLY what your looking for with these cars.
I really lucked out when I found my S with only 10,000 miles.
Love my Boxster to death but like you I want to convert the resale
value into a newer Porsche. I thought the value would hold a little better
but there's just too many Boxsters floating around. Climbing interest
rates and sky high gas prices will add either positively or negatively.
We'll see...
But that 01 Carrera is a good investment (with low-medium mileage). It would probably be a good idea to do a 2002-2004 face lift if you plan to keep it a while.
It will defnitely help on the resale to have the 2nd most recent 911 look.

wow - $33k for an 01 996 - that's not bad! And, a dealer handed over 27K for your 01 986 - sounds like you had the best week ever!

thanks Mac and perfectlap,

I had to make the move , after checking the value on the c2's..
even after paying the ceritcation and the service its only came to $36K..
which is way less than the blue book value.. I would miss the handling on the
Boxster, perfect and well balanced... i was ready to mod it too:)
thanks guys for the help and advice.
