Battery drain

Could this be the mysterious battery drain caused by a faulty electric ignition switch?

the ignition switch is a two part mechanism, the cylinder and an electronic switch which many accessory wires connect to. When it goes bad, sometimes the accessories continue to draw juice when the ignition is completely off. Hence a slow drain.

There are a bunch of threads about these problems caused by this little part. Check them out to see if your symptoms are along those lines.

This is true for older boxes. Later models were redesigned I think.
