High Mileage Boxsters > 145k miles ? How long does yours last?

How many people here have high mileage Boxsters with miles greater than 145k miles?
What major maintenance items or major repairs have you done?

If your engine/transmission failed at some point, what mileage did it fail, and what was the reason for failure?

I am trying to figure out how long my high mileage Boxster will last. I know lots of people who own Boxsters do not work on cars, but I am trying to see with proper maintenance, what are realistic mileage goals for this car? For reference, my Honda last to 350k miles until the wife wraped it around a tree.

MarkW has over 300k on an '02 with really minimal issues. Poor guy has to use his turbo when the Boxster is in the shop.

Checking in with 168,000 miles. Original engine and Tiptonic tranny. Has never had any major repairs, but lots of little stuff after it passed 125,000.
Just off the top of my head:
 Rear control arms
 Rear wheel bearings
 Tie rod ends
 Alternator
 Water pump
 Seats (originals broke down severely)
 One radiator
 One condenser
A/C control box (foam seals gave out)
 Coolant tank
 Oxygen sensors
 Drivers door lock cylinder
 Two complete brake overhauls
 Hood and trunk shocks
 Hand brake top sensor
 Shifter handle

Of course the usual maintenance stuff: belts, hoses, tires, oil and filter and diagnostic checkup every 5,000 miles.

That's off the top of my head. I know I've missed stuff, but nearly all of it has been typical maintenance and wear items on any higher mileage car. It has been a good experience overall, except for the insane expense of many of the repairs.

Still a very tight and leak-free car.

I bought mine with 150,000 miles on it last year. The original engine failed due to the IMS blowing up at 150,000 miles. Pedro Bonilla installed a 39,000 mile engine in the car along with all new major components (DOF for IMS, Water Pump, Clutch, etc...) and the car has 155,000 miles on it now.
My friend has a 97 with a 145,000 miles on the original engine. Clutch and IMS were replaced at 90,000 miles. The car lives a hard life doing AutoX and track duty. The original IMS was in perfect condition when it was removed from the car at 90,000 miles.

What was the cost of your replacement engine?
