Speaker wire connectors Hooking up rear speakers in my 98 Boxster I am wondering if I can use these connectors so I'll be able to remove the speakers to get to the engine. Please follow link and let me know. Thanks Shop Reese Towpower Professional Series 4-Wire LED Trailer End Circuit Tester at Lowe's |

Sure, you could but then you'll likely end up w/ a plug connection and two splices b/w amp and speakers. A better and cheaper solution would be to hit a radio shack and get a 4 position plug w/ connectors so you can cut wires to length as needed and not splice in a connector. such as: https://www.radioshack.com/products/radioshack-4-position-female-polarized-connector?variant=5717408965 https://www.radioshack.com/collections/maker-parts-kits/products/radioshack-4-position-male-polarized-connector?variant=5717407365 Good luck :) |

Much Better That 4 conductor Molex is the way I went. I ran a new 6 conductor cable from my head unit to the rear, 4 wires for speakers and two additional wires for whatever future use |
