Fuel port lid
How difficult is it to access that little piston that locks the fuel port flap? Mine never moves or locks.
Thanks. |
Try squirting some lubricant spray on it. Mine was not working properly and a squirt of Tri-flow plus replacing the guide bushing ($1.50 from Pelican) fixed it.

It's supposed to lock???
Just something else to put on the list... |
Yup, it locks. I accidentally locked it on myself with durametric once or twice.
|
Once you get to it it's not too hard to remove.

It's a bear to get to. I replaced mine with a new one but it still does not work.
No noise no nothing. Acts as if no electrical impulse is being sent when I arm the alarm. Not sure how you check if it's getting an electrical signal |
Mine engages and disengages. I can hear it click. Although it does not actually lock it like its not long enough? maybe I am missing a part or something.
Not to hijack but Does anyone have a picture of the inside of the door so I can see the locking piece. make sure mine has all the pieces I guess? |
